Helicopter direct to the summit of Mt Alta, one of the most prominent mountains visible from Wanaka township for views of Mt Aspiring through to Lake Wanaka. Spend the day ski touring on the south face at the head of the Rumbling Burn before flying out late in the day.

Helicopter in to Albertburn Saddle and the luxurious Wharekea Chalet on the edge of Mt Aspiring National Park. Spend a number of days exploring the fantastic ski touring available in the area returning every night to the comforts of the Chalet.

Depending on conditions we can head to the west or east of the Main Divide. Either head to the Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers where the high alpine huts look directly down onto the beaches of NZ's rugged west coast. Climb and ski summits and explore these wide expanses of glacier. Otherwise the mighty Tasman glacier on the eastern side provides endless terrain to explore for all abilities and challenging ski descent on classic peaks.

For a remote wilderness ski touring experience away from the crowds visit the Bonar glacier under Mt Aspiring. Helicopter in and out of Bevan Col and stay at the Colin Todd mountaineers hut.

Accessible as a helicopter accessed day tour or overnight at the private Black Peak Hut. Explore the skiing opportunities on multiple aspects of Black Peak and ski out to Treble Cone ski field.

Stay at the comfortable Ohau lodge and travel up to the snow each day to ski tour beyond the boundaries of the Ohau ski field to Lake Dumbell and the Ohau range beyond.
